I am now living in the Ventura area, so I wanted to paint some local scenes. This painting is the first in a
series of the famous 'Two Trees'. All the locals are familiar with the story of how they used to guide Mariners to the Ventura Harbor. In the foreground of this, the first in my series,
I have chosen some outrigger kayaks I came across down at the Ventura Harbor that I could see as I looked inland to the two trees.
