OAHU is a beautiful place to be, especially when you get out of the city. This park is located on the Southwestern coast. I usually paint from places I have been. This painting is an exception.
I would like to thank Jim Kershner, a Hawiian Photographer for the use of this image for this painting. I wish to get back to the islands soon myself, so I can paint a whole series of paintings. I just love the laid back atmosphere there. Anyone who has been to
the Hawiian Islands know exactly what I mean.
