LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA
This is Naples, California, that is. Just South of Long Beach, this island community was named well. Just like it's Italian counterpart, it consists of small islands with canals that you would often see a couple gliding along in a romantic gondola.
I came upon this scene one day as my husband and I were bicycle riding around these islands. The roses were just breathtaking, so I knew I had to paint them.
