Refugio State Beach is located just North of Santa Barbara on Highway 1. It is a great place to go up for the day with a picnic or to stay a few days. It is one of my favorite places along the beach to camp. There always seem to be either surfers or kayakers to watch as you walk along the tide pools, both of which is alot of fun.
